Madrid, Nov 6 (IANS) Record European football champions Real Madrid’s winger Gareth Bale and defende Dani Carvajal have returned to work with the group in preparation for Sunday’s La Liga clash against Sevilla at the Sanchez Pizjuan stadium in the 11th round.

The training session on Thursday also included Colombian attacking midfielder James Rodriguez who could appear against Sevilla, reports Efe. Wales international Bale, who has not played since he was replaced during the La Liga match against Levante on October 17, suffered a muscle problem in his left leg, while Spanish international Carvajal sustained an injury in his right ankle during the match against Atletico on October 4.

French striker Karim Benzema, who is in France under formal judicial investigation regarding the alleged plot of blackmail to fellow French international Mathieu Valbuena over a sex video, missed the training session. Real Madrid lead La Liga standings with 24 points, ahead of Barcelona on goal difference.
