According to the latest reports, Spanish giants Barcelona are interested to sign Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera, Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin and are plotting a move for the young talents in January transfer window. Since Barcelona are banned from transfer activity in 2015, they can’t buy players till 2016.
Herrera moved to Old Trafford last summer from Athletico Bilbao for a reported sum of £29million. The 25-year old had a very slow start to the season as he was unable to adapt to the new surroundings quickly and was often benched at the start of the season.
The midfielder came to his comfort zone during the second phase of the season making some crucial contributions to the Red Devils’ success recently. It is also reported that Barcelona sporting director Ariedo Braida is desperate to land Herrera and is ready to negotiate with Manchester United officials over a possible transfer in the winter transfer window of 2016.
On the other hand, Bellerin moved to Arsenal from Camp Nou four years ago at the age of 16 after spending eight years at youth academy of Barca and has been in tremendous form after right-back Debuchy got injured.
Barcelona are looking for a long-term successor for Dani Alves and Bellerin would be an ideal solution as the player is already aware of Spanish game style, conditions. With Dani Alves set to move away from Camp Nou this summer, a move for Bellerin would be ideal for Barca next season.
