Barcelona came out on top in the UEFA Super Cup after Pedro Rodriguez netted a 115th minute winner against Sevilla, however, prior to the game Robert Fernandez, Barcelona’s technical director revealed how Pedro has asked him to leave Camp Nou.

Fernandez spoke with the Barcelona’s local radio station TV3/Catalan Radio where he explained how Pedro wants out of Barcelona. Fernandez said: “Pedro has asked me to leave, we want him to stay it is up to him. Tonight could be his last game but the €30million valuation will not be lowered”

These words send out a direct chance for Manchester United to pull out this transfer and wrap up the deal in coming days. Fernandez also confirmed that so far no deal is in place and they are yet to receive an official offer for the player.

Pedro has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for quite some time now as he is personally favored by Louis Van Gaal to add the much needed speed and creativity to his side.

Pedro’s valuations stands at €30m, as suggested by Barcelona’s technical but United are trying to bring it down to €25million, which has been the main reason for the delay in transfer to go through.
