Bayern Munich Manager Carlo Ancelotti Fined For Offensive Gesture At Berlin

Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti was fined for making an offensive gesture in a highly tensed game against Hertha Berlin last weekend.

The German giants have managed to score an equaliser from the last kick of the game against the hosts Hertha as they managed to squeeze a point out of a thrilling contest. However, things turned ugly as both the home fans and players have lost their cool after dropping points against Bayern.

Manager Ancelotti has also left the touchline frustrated after the game as one of the fans in the stadium has abused him. The Italian tactician has also lost his cool and make a gesture showing his middle finger to the fans who spat at him after the game.

An investigation was carried out on the matter and the manager has accepted the offence and have termed it as an emotional reaction in his reply to DFB. He was imposed a fine of £4,200 by the German football association.

Despite the allegations both Ancelotti and Bayern Munich are looking to get better after a poor start to the second half of the season in which their intensity was very low. It was yet another brilliant performance from Bayern to win a point in the tight game where they did almost everything correctly.

The result meant they are five points clear at the top of the Bundesliga and are on course to win their fifth consecutive Bundesliga title which no German club has ever achieved before.

The German giants are also going strong in Champions League as their jaw-dropping performance against Arsenal in their 5-1 rout meant they are on the verge of knocking out the English club from the elite competition.
