English Premier League outfit Chelsea are set to make a number of big money deals come the summer transfer window.

With Antonio Conte set to take over the club at the end of the season, a complete overhaul is expected at Stamford Bridge and this has seen a number of players mostly from Italy linked with a potential move to England this summer.

But the top transfer target for Conte this summer will not be easy to sign as recent reports have suggested interests from top European sides.

AS Roma’s in-form midfielder Miralem Pjanic was rumored to be on the top of the wish list for Conte for his first adventure in England but it looks like the Italian will not get his hands easily on the 26-year old.

Pjanic has been superb this season for the Italian outfit and has been an important part of their journey to a Champions League spot this season.

He is a versatile midfielder who is at the moment thumping in free-kicks for fun. He will improve the quality of any squad he walks into in Europe and this has seen big clubs scout for him this summer.

Italian media outlet Gazzetta World has reported that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the player this summer.

Any interest from a club like Bayern will surely put doubts into the minds of other suitors but it is understood that Chelsea are still confident of landing their player in the summer.

A release clause in Pjanic’s contract will see him released £30m in the summer and with the price not on the higher side, there may be plenty of other suitors who might move for him this summer.

Chelsea are ready to offer a three-year deal while Bayern are still scouting for the player.

It was also reported that the Italian outfit are not too keen on trying to persuade the 26-year old who is reluctant to put pen to paper for a new contract at the club.

The Serie A outfit has already started to look at possible replacements for Pjanic and Zenit Saint Petersburg star Axel Witsel is said to be on the wish list this summer.

Pjanic will surely be a story that can turn into a typical transfer saga come the end of this season. Who do you think will sign the Bosnia-Herzegovina international this summer?
