In what will put a frown on every Gunners’ face, incoming Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti has identified his primary transfer target for his first season in charge of the club.

The Italian will take over the Allianz Arena outfit this summer with Pep Guardiola leaving for Manchester City and it is understood that he has a wish-list prepared for his new club.

The Bayern Munich squad is full of potential stars and will only get better after Ancelloti take charge of the club with the kind of transfer targets he has in his mind.

Arsenal’s unsung hero for the last couple of seasons, Alexis Sanchez is at the top of the wish-list for Bayern Munich this summer.

The Chile international has been in sensational form since his move to England from Barcelona and media outlet AS Chile claim that Ancelotti wants to grab the 27-year old at the end of the season.

Sanchez, who was an important part of the Barcelona squad moved on after Luis Suarez made the move to Spain but the Chilean’s career has not been as glorious as the Uruguayan’s.

Though he helped Arsenal retain the FA Cup last season, he has not tasted much success at the Emirates and has no real chance of a trophy this season, as they stand 13 points away from the top of the table with 6 games in hand.

The prospect of playing at one of the biggest clubs in Europe might tempt the 27-year old to make the move in the summer but the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger recently revealed that the winger is happy with his situation in London.

However, if the Bundesliga giants are keen on bringing their man to Germany next season, Wenger might not be able to decline their offer.

The Emirates outfit are themselves going through a squad overhaul this summer and losing a player like Sanchez will only pile more pressure on their campaign next season.

It will be interesting to see what will transpire if Bayern offers a bid for the star in the transfer window.

Do you think Wenger will allow Alexis Sanchez to leave this summer?
