Blow For Chelsea As Zidane Ready To Lure Influential First Team Star To The Bernabeu And It Is Not Hazard

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea continued their winning form on their trip to the Bet365 at the weekend as they put two past Stoke City to take all three points to consolidate their place at the top of the table.
The manager will be relatively happy with the performances of his side this season and will be particularly pleased with the way most of his summer signings have been impressive this season.
The likes of N Golo Kante and David Luiz have been integral to Chelsea’s positive run of form this season but one player who has been as influential but not as high profile is Italian wing-back Marcos Alonso.
Almost tailor made for a wing-back position, Alonso has worked with Conte in his time with the Italian national team and he has taken no time in cementing a place in the first team at the club this season on the left-flank.
The 26-year old cost the Blues £23m this summer and looking at his returns, he will remain one of the best signings in the summer in the Premier League.
But according to English media outfit Sun, European giants Real Madrid are now ready to swoop for him in the summer.
Zinedine Zidane, who is helping Real Madrid to a La Liga title this season, is concerned about the left-back spot and has been scouting for a long term replacement for Marcelo on the left flank.
And with not many top class options, Real are now ready to reignite their interest in the Italian man this summer.
The La Liga outfit were linked with a move for the former Fiorentina man at the start of the season but Conte’s influence on the player saw him chose the Stamford Bridge.
But with Zidane now desperate for a left-back, Alonso might shift clubs twice in two years.
However, the report also claim that Conte is convinced that the 26-year old is a first team option for years to come and that they will be reluctant to sell this summer.
It is understood that Real Sociedad star Yuri Berchiche and Espanyol kid Aaron Martin who are both available at a similar price to Alonso are the other options that Zidane is scouting for this summer but it is understood that Alonso is on the top of their wishlist.
Conte has settled into a first team that has won him games constantly this season and is hard to see him tamper with it atleast for another season but the pull of the Champions of Europe could be too much for Alonso to turn down.
But do you think Marcos Alonso will leave Chelsea for a backup position at the Bernabeu this summer?
