Aresnal target Alexandre Lacazette will not be sold to any club confirms Lyon coach Hubert Fournier. The French international has been heavily linked with a move to Emirates in the recent months but his current employers are keen to keep him.
The 24-year old has been in sensational form and has been one of the most linked players in this transfer window with all big clubs trying to lure him away. The player is linked with a move to Premier League with the likes of Arsenal, chelsea and Liverpool linked.
Gunners are set to take on Lyon today in emirates Cup and speaking ahead of the match Hubert Fournier insisted that Lacazette is going no where and is very much at the centre of his plans going into new season.
When asked where he saw Lacazette playing this season, Fournier said: “Olympique Lyonnais. I haven’t got much to say. He has said he wants to stay with us. “Of course some clubs are going to be attracted to the sort of player he is but he is under contract at Lyon and with all of the different competitions we have this season with the Champions League and the domestic French cups, we obviously want to keep him at the club.” Alexandre Lacazette has been in sensational form as he raked up 27 goals and 6 assists in 33 league games last season.
