According to reports in Italy, Arsenal are closing in on signing Paraguayan attacking midfielder Miguel Amiron in a £11.1 million deal.
Arsene Wenger is keen to sign the talented midfielder before the close of the transfer window as he is keen to send him out on loan for the rest of the season to gain more experience in Europe before representing Arsenal.
The 22-year old Paraguayan international have joined the Argentine side Lanus last August, after an incredible season with Paraguayan side Cerro Porteno. The player is known for his ability to play a vast range of positions in midfield and would be a great addition to Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger who was heavily criticized for not many impact signings this summer have made a statement with the signings of Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi with both the players set to sign a contract today.
The Paraguayan have made only one international appearance for his country at senior level and it would be hard to get a work permit for him during the end days of the transfer window which could see Arsenal send him out on loan for the current season.
Arsene Wenger is keen to invest more money in bringing quality players to the club as they eye glory this season after not winning Premier League for the last decade despite being consistently impressive. The manager is keen to make a point as he is into the final year of his contract.
