Arsenal’s injury woes continue as another striker, Chuba Akpom, is out, with possible stress factor.
The promising young striker is sidelined yet again after recently recovering from a previous back injury that he sustained during the end of September which was confirmed on his Instagram account.
This serves as yet another blow to Arsene Wenger’s team as he struggles to find a consistent striker for the club. The returning Olivier Giroud should serve as a breath of fresh air as he prepares to make his way back into the starting lineup.
The young English international has been prolific during pre-season, scoring four goals in five games, but his form has started to dwindle due to his frequent injuries. Unfortunately, his form hasn’t carried over into the current season, starting only one game, in the EFL Cup against Nottingham Forest.
His efforts to break into the first team seem to be repeatedly hampered by his injuries which adds to the uncertainty of his future at The Emirates as he may go out on loan yet again.
The youngster remains optimistic that he can recover quickly as he took to social media once again to voice his feelings.
It would be a major boost to the club as a whole if Akpom were to stay healthy for a sustained period of time.
