League one side Bolton wanderers are keen to sign Arsenal wonder-kid Gedion Zelalem on a loan deal, according to ESPN FC.
The 19-year old has spent last season on loan at Rangers as he helped the club to get promoted to Scottish Premiership. The youngster have managed an impressive 28 appearances for Rangers last season but failed to score a single goal. However, he managed eight assists during the course of the season.
The United States U-23 international is one of the brightest prospects at Arsenal and manager Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the player. However, the manager is keen on his development and is willing to let him leave on loan yet again this season as he is way below the pecking order to even consider for first team football.
A loan move would ensure he would get plenty of playing time which could prove crucial to his development. The 19-year old is one of the highly-rated youth prospects in England as he came through Arsenal’s academy and made his professional debut in January 2014.
A number of clubs are interested in signing the talented youngster but Bolton are keen to sign Zelalem as they look to get back to Championship next season.
Arsenal and Bolton enjoy a positive relationship as the Gunners have previously loaned Jack Wilshere to Bolton Wanderers in 2009-2010 season and a deal for Zelalem could be on the cards before the end of transfer window.
