Breaking: Chelsea Dealt Huge Blow As Key Target Will Not Be Allowed To Leave
Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed star midfielder Arturo Vidal will not leave the German giants this January amidst increasing interest from Chelsea.
The Blues are constantly linked with the Chilean as the 29-year old is a huge admirer of new boss Antonio Conte as the duo have previously worked at Juventus. Vidal has grown tremendously as a player under Conte and has admitted his fondness to work with Conte again if possible.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are also keen to add a midfielder to their roster as Oscar has left to Chinese Super League earlier this month in a record transfer and there are huge doubts over John Obi Mikel staying as his future is unclear at Stamford Bridge at the moment.
The Chilean is arguably one of the best midfielders in the world at the moment and might also be the best box to box midfielder in the world as he is one of the most complete midfielders in the world. When asked about the Chelsea links about Arturo Vidal, Bayern manager and former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has absolutely ruled out the possibility of selling the midfielder this month as well as next summer.”This is absolute nonsense,” Ancelotti said.

Bayern Munich are currently training in Doha as part of preparations for the second half of the season and Arturo Vidal has also look keen to stay with the German champions this season as he is determined to win all the trophies possible with the Bundesliga giants.

The Chilean has also won the Footballer of the year and Sports Personality of the year in Chile this year ahead of the likes of Alexis Sanchez which speaks volumes about his form this season.

Ancelotti is keen to continue with the same squad till summer as he has confirmed that the club will not make any further signings in January.

“The squad is complete,” he said.

“We do not have any plans to sign new players in January.”

Vidal has so far managed only nine starts for Bayern Munich in Bundesliga this season as he has been in and out of the side due to injuries. However, he remains an important figure in star studded Bayern team as the second half kicks off later this month.
