Chelsea have made contact with Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach over a potential resigning of Thorgan Hazard, according to reports in Germany.
The younger brother of Eden Hazard has failed to break into the first team and has moved to Monchengladbach on a loan which has prompted the club to sign him on a permanent basis in February last year after his impressive run of form.
The 23-year old has become a very important player for the club this season as he has been the influential figure in their attack since the start of the season. He has already 18 goals and 20 assists in 89 appearances at the club.
According to German journalist Philip Harmeling, Chelsea have approached Borussia Monchengaldbach over a potential transfer that could help them take the player back to Stamford Bridge in January.
However, the young winger is in no hurry to move back to the Premier League as he is keen to become a more influential player which could help him get to a top club in the future. The report suggested that neither the player nor the club are interested in the deal which meant Chelsea have apparently lost another huge talent.

Chelsea have suffered a lot by letting their talents leave the club on loan post which they signed for the clubs and became highly rated youngsters in the recent years. The likes of Kevin de Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Thorgan Hazard are some of the examples of the players who reached new heights after leaving Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have signed David Luiz, a former player, as they needed a center back in summer and are keen to sign some of their former players back to strengthen their squad under manager Antonio Conte.
Harmeling posted in a series of tweets: “Chelsea has approached #BMG for Hazard and his buy-out clause.
“The price is fixed around €18-20M (£16-£18m) but none of BMG and Hazard are interested.
“Chelsea has made Hazard a priority for the next transfer window in January but looks like they have a lot to do to convince Hazard to leave.”
