The biggest surprise of the transfer deadline day in Spain came in late as David De Gea deal fell through due to delay in paper works. Reports in Spain claim, that the necessary paper works which were needed to complete the De Gea, Keylor Navas Swap deal did not reach the La Liga office in time as a result it has been declared that David De Gea is staying at Manchester United and Keylor Navas staying at Real Madrid. 

As soon as the deadline day ended today no official confirmation came from either of the clubs which hinted that the move fell through.

Spanish newspaper and reliable journalist have tweeted to confirm the news that the deal will not place due to the aforementioned reason.

AS further claims that the goalkeeper who was mentally prepared to join his home town club this summer is reported to be ‘distraught’. Louis van Gaal clearly indicated from the beginning of the season that he prefers his own Sergio Romero as the club’s first-choice keeper.
