Breaking: Balotelli Set For Premier League Return, Confirms Agent

Former Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli could make a return to Premier League as early as next summer as his agent Mino Raiola has confirmed of talks with various top flight clubs in England.

The controversial 26-year old striker was offloaded by Liverpool this summer as they let him join French outfit Nice on a free transfer. But the Italian who is expected to flop in Ligue 1 as well, have returned to his best to score 11 goals in just 14 appearances for Nice across all competitions making him one of the best strikers in the country.

The surprise form of Balotelli meant Nice are at the top of Ligue 1 at mid point in the season after 19 games. Balotelli’s impressive form from the start of the season meant he was able to draw the attention of number of Premier League clubs and super agent Mino Raiola has confirmed that he held talks with some of the English clubs over a potential transfer.

‘We’ve already had talks with English clubs, but it’s really too early to say. We want to keep it day-by-day with Mario,’ Raiola said.

‘For Mario I always knew it (goals) will come. He was in his last year at Liverpool and he was very stable and not so emotional anymore.

‘I still think it’s a shame that (Jurgen) Klopp didn’t give him a fair chance, but Mario is proving to himself, more than to others, what he can do.

‘It’s his career – I think he understands a lot of things and he knows what he did as a mistake in the past.

‘But it’s useless to look back, it’s only useful to look forward.’

Balotelli earlier played for Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League and have looked terrible in his loan spell to AC Milan during his time at Anfield which prompted Jurgen Klopp and Reds to let him go. It remains to be seen which club are set to sign the controversial figure next summer.
