Cesc Fabregas

According to Tuttosport, Juventus have turned their attention to Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas after failing to lure Nemanja Matic away from Stamford Bridge.

The Italian giants are looking to find a replacement for Paul Pogba who left for Old Trafford in a world record £89 million move.

Juventus have shortlisted a number of targets to replace Pogba with the list including the likes of Nemanja Matic, Balise Matuidi, Isco, Alex Witsel and recently Cesc Fabregas has joined on their target list.

The Old Lady have already signed Miralem Pjanic from their direct rivals AS Roma but Allegri feels that he needs to add one or more quality midfielders going into the new season.

New signing N’Golo Kante meant that there is huge competition for the places in the midfield as Conte is set to play 4-2-3-1 in the upcoming season which has led doubts over Matic’s future at the club.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is not willing to sell Matic as he convinced the player to stay at Stamford Bridge for the upcoming season.

The Italian champions are ready to lure the Spaniard away from Stamford Bridge with a mega offer and Conte could very well be tempted to let the Spanish international go to ward off interest on Nemanja Matic as he is not interested in letting the Serbian leave.
