According to Daily Star, Manchester United young striker James Wilson is set to leave on a season-long loan to Fulham for the upcoming season.

The 20-year old is one of the talented players from Manchester United and was impressive under former manager Louis van Gaal when he broke into Manchester United senior squad.

However, new manager Jose Mourinho is willing to send him on a loan deal as the player might not get much playing time if he stays at Old Trafford this season.

Manchester United have added Zlatan Ibrahimovic to their striker force and now the English U-21 international is below the likes of Anthony Martial, Wayne Rooney, Marcus Rashford besides Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the pecking order.

The 20-year old has spent last season on loan at Brighton and have managed to score five goals and is set for another loan spell this season in search of first-team football.

James Wilson has first come into the limelight when he scored a double against Hull City in his debut match during the end of 2013-14 season. Jose Mourinho is keen to trim his squad to as less as 25 players including goalkeepers for the upcoming season and sees the player as a future perspective.

Several championship sides are interested in his services but Fulham are considered favorites despite Birmingham City expressing their interest to sign the player on a loan deal.
