Petr Cech has completed his move from Chelsea to Arsenal in a deal worth £11million pounds. Cech has been linked with Arsenal for several weeks with transfer fee being the only obstacle.

Chelsea were holding on to their valuation of £11million for the experienced goalkeeper while Arsenal were willing to spend only £7-8million. However, Sky Sports have now confirmed that Arsenal have gone ahead and paid the £11million in full to sign Petr Cech from Chelsea.

Earlier today, John Terry revealed how Cech would be influential for Arsenal as he can single handedly win them 15 points next season. Arsenal have been chasing a world-class goal keeper for many seasons now and their quest has finally come to an end in Chelsea’s Petr Cech.

Cech will join an impressive Arsenal squad who finished third in the league last season and will look to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title.

Petr Cech’s official signing is expected to be announced over the weekend once the player will complete his medical.

As it turns out, a twist of fate will see Petr Cech play his first official game for Arsenal in the community shield against Chelsea.
