Paul Pogba has arrived in Manchester for his medical. he landed at Manchester Airport and straightaway driven to the Red Devils’ training ground for Medical.

Manchester Airport also tweeted: “An important passenger has just touched down at the airport.

“Can anyone guess who it might be?”

Manchester United are all set to sign Pogba in a world-record transfer of a staggering total £112million. United are paying Juventus £89m for the Juventus midfielder, with another £23m reportedly going to super-agent Mino Raiola.

And Pogba has now touched down in Manchester on a private jet from Nice Airport and been driven to Carrington in a bright red Chevrolet Camaro.Pogba
United won the first trophy of the Jose Mourinho era yesterday after a 2-1 Community Shield victory over Leicester at Wembley. After the match, Mourinho revealed his belief that Pogba could emerge as the best player in the world at Old Trafford.“United is the perfect club to bring him to the level he wants to be,” Mourinho said. “And the Premier League is the perfect habitat for that.
“If you want to be the best player in the world if you go to Barcelona or Real Madrid you are in trouble because I don’t think the other two big guys [Ronaldo and Messi] won’t let you do it!“Here, he has the conditions to develop in the most seen championship worldwide which is incredible and with a team that wants to bring Manchester United to the top again.”

Four years after he left Old Trafford for nothing following a contract dispute between his agent Mino Raiola and United manager Alex Ferguson, the French boy wonder has returned to his spiritual home for a mind blowing fee that has been the talk of football all summer.

How can United justify paying Juventus a massive £100m for a single player, shattering the world transfer record and making a huge statement of intent as new boss Jose Mourinho sets out on his mission to put the club back at the top.

With the deal now complete, the debate over the merits of the transfer is well underway but Pogba’s move to Manchester United has given a glimpse into the future of how football transfers are conducted on a variety of level.
