Sevilla right back Aleix Vidal is a Bacelona player now after the clubs agreed on a €10million fee for the versatile player who can play in three different positions.

The Spanish player will be joining the Catalan club from January 2016 due to the transfer ban imposed on Barcelona by UEFA for signing under-aged players.

This signing marks the rebuilding job under Luis Enrique as club is set to move on from the departure of Xavi and Dani Alves. Vidal is signed partly with a view to replace Alvez as the former Sevilla man can play on the right wing as well as an effective right-back.

The 25-year old player has already swapped 7 different clubs in his short career so far. Barcelona have been monitoring Vidal for quite some time and have now signed the player from Sevilla.

According to Diario Sport, it is believed that, transfer will not be made official until next week’s presidential elections in Spain but the player has joined Barcelona and will play his first official match for Barcelona after January 2016.

Barcelona are fresh from their treble winning season after the Catalan side defeated Juventus 3-1 in an exciting final. Goals from Ivan Rakitic, Luis Suarez and Neymar sealed the win for Luis Enrique and his men.
