Tottenham Hotspur takes on Arsenal in a crucial Capitol One Cup encounter on Wednesday night.

This is going to be the headlining match this weekend in the Capitol One Cup features two fierce rivals clashing. The first North-London derby of the season will take place at the White Hart Lane.

Arsenal has been extremely inconsistent this season as they have not won matches consecutively for two matches. While they are placed in a comfortable position in the Premier League table, they have lost their first match in the Champions League against minnows Dinamo Zagreb. They will visit Spurs with a two-match losing streak behind their back.

Even Tottenham is not in a comfortable position in the league and has not performed up to the mark.

Here is the predicted lineup of Arsenal against Tottenham Hotspur:

Goalkeeper

David Ospina is likely to replace Petr Cech in the starting XI. Ospina who went down the pecking order after Petr Cech joined the club this summer will be fielded in this game. Ospina also played in the Champions League game.

Defenders

Mathieu Debuchy likely to replace Hector Bellerin. Per Mertesacker will be back in the squad after a prolonged injury period. He will be partnered with Calum Chambers in the central defense. England international Kieran Gibbs will replace Nacho Monreal.

Midfielders

We predict that Arsene Wenger would change the entire midfield in this comparatively easy fixture. Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta will be in the central midfield. Joel Campbell will start in the left wing and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the right flank. Mesut Ozil likely to be the only player to be retained.

Striker

Olivier Giroud is no more the first choice striker in the Arsenal squad. Theo Walcott has overthrown him in that place. But the Frenchman will be fielded in this match in order to rest Theo Walcott.

Prediction: Draw, Arsenal to win in the penalty shootout

We expect this to be an evenly poised match and we predict a tie in the 90 minutes. Arsenal would win eventually in the penalties.
