Casemiro out, Isco in: Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Bayern Munich

The domestic leagues at the weekend were interesting to watch but the Champions League is back in action this week and it brings with it some incredible games, that could decide the outcome of the competitions. La Liga leaders Real Madrid managed to take a 2-1 lead from their first leg of the quarter-final of the competition from their trip to the Allianz Arena last weekend. Bayern was down to 10-man as Real took full advantage but the work is only half done as they will have to stop Bayern from fighting back at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid are fresh from a victory at the weekend in the domestic league and will be quietly confident of beating the German giants on Tuesday. Zidane will not hold back and will go for the kill. Here is the predicted lineup he might field for this tie.

Team News:

Raphael Varane and Pepe are still sidelined and are expected to miss this game while winger Gareth Bale has picked up a calf problem and is ruled out for this tie.

Expected lineup (4-3-3):

Defense:

Keylor Navas was not too shabby in the first leg and Zidane should stick with him in between the sticks for this game. Dani Carvajal and Marcelo have been the first choice on either flank and the duo should keep their place in the first team.

Sergio Ramos will lead the defensive line for his side but he will miss both his first-choice partners for this tie. Nacho might keep his place at the heart of the defence like he did in Germany.

Midfield:

Casemiro was solid at the Allianz Arena but Zidane might want his side to be more fluid in this game and might stick with Toni Kroos as the deepest of the midfielders for this tie. Luka Modric has been in exceptional form and will be an important player for the side in this game while Spanish playmaker Isco is expected to be the furthest of the midfielders, as Zidane looks to finish Bayern off early on the night.

Attack:

With Bale absent, Zidane should go with Alvaro Morata, who is slightly more reliable than Marco Asensio in big games. Cristiano Ronaldo should keep his place on the wing while Karim Benzema should lead the attack for his side.

Here is how they would line up:
