Chelsea face Maribor in the Champions League, Group-G game tonight.

Possible Starting XI:

Chelsea ( 4-2-3-1): Courtois; Azpilicueta, Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic; Fabregas, Matic; Hazard, Oscar, Willian; Rémy.

Maribor (Possible, 4-4-2): Handanovic; Mejac, Rajcevic, Suler, Viler; Filipovic, Mertelj, Bohar, Vrsic; Ibraimi, Tavares.

Chelsea, with four Group G points, welcome a Maribor side with just two points. Striker Diego Costa is out of Chelsea’s Champions League Group G clash at home to Maribor on Tuesday night with a hamstring problem, presenting a chance for Didier Drogba or Loïc Rémy.

Midfielder John Obi Mikel will also miss out, while midfielder Ramires and forward André Schürrle have been ruled out by manager Jose Mourinho despite training on Monday.

Full-back César Azpilicueta is available despite his domestic three-match suspension for his dismissal at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The Slovenian side Maribor have drawn with Sporting Lisbon and Schalke in their opening two Group G matches – Chelsea won 1-0 in Portugal last time out, having opened with a 1-1 home draw against the Germans – and Blues boss Mourinho is not underestimating a team which reached the group stages at Celtic’s expense.

Chelsea should be confident; they lead Group G with four points while Maribor have drawn both Group games so far. This is the first time Chelsea will faced Maribor. Chelsea are unbeaten in 11 games in all competitions, winning nine. They last lost a game in April, in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Atlético Madrid.
