Chelsea have made their stance clear on the asking price for Peter Cech’s exit from Stamford Bridge next season and it’s valued at £20 Million. Arsenal have shown their explicit desires in signing the experienced Chelsea goal keeper in recent weeks.
Cech has lost his first team place at Chelsea since the arrival of young Thibaout Courtious. Even though Mourinho is keen to prolong Cech’s stay at the club he vows not to come in between the wish of the player if he wants to leave.
Arsenal, for long have been looking for a dependable Goalkeeper to build their team around and Peter Cech can easily give them 3-4 years at the peak of his service. Arsenal will have to meet Chelsea’s £20 Million asking price for the experienced Czech Goalkeeper.
Peter Cech will be aware that he will put his relationship with the blues fans at stake if he decides to join Arsenal. It was 2006, when the last time a player made a switch from Chelsea to Arsenal and the player was Ashley Cole who switched the red of Arsenal for Blue of Chelsea. The deal also saw William Gallas become a Gunner.
Peter Cech joining Arsenal will be one of the most followed transfer in the next summer window. Realistically no other club is in desperate needs of signing a world class goalkeeper so a bid could be imminent from the Gunner as Cech cannot afford to spend one more season sitting on the bench. We could see a £20 Million deal between the London rivals go through in the summer.
