This transfer window Chelsea are not only looking to get the ship steady for this season, but with a more long term aim, the Blues are aiming to get a certain youngster from Spain who has wowed everyone with his skills and the best part is that he is just 12!

The object of Chelsea’s recent admiration is 12 year old Xavi Simons after his brilliant performance in the La Liga Promises tournament held last month in Miami. The little guy is an all in one package with brilliant run throughs, passes, crosses and goal scoring technique. As Xavi’s father Regillio Simons, a former striker recalls, the little Simons is named after former Barcelona captain Xavi Hernandes and it seems like fate that he plays like the stalwart too.

Currently working in the Ajax academy, Rgillio claims that Chelsea had earlier too made an offer and a move to Stamford Bridge might turn out to be good for the prodigy. “Agents are everywhere. Even at a younger age they were starting to approach me making offers for Xavi, asking to be his agents. Xavi’s development is the most important thing. We want him in the right surroundings. Even if we need to move, it is the development that’s important. Not the money. We have spoken to Chelsea and you know it’s going to be good money at Chelseafurther added the father of the star.

Donning golden flowing hair similar to a certain David Luiz, its a treat to watch the 12 year old. Is he the next big thing? Check out for yourself!
