Chelsea management have been thinking about offloading the talented young Brazilian over the season after it was deemed that his play was brilliant but too inconsistent for their liking.
Oscar has been continually linked with Juventus over the last couple of seasons but has held down his place at Chelsea with great performances over the course of half seasons.
No Chelsea are keen to ship Oscar out of the club in favor of a move for Alex Teixeira this January. The Brazilian is heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this January and Oscar departing to Juventus will make it even more possible.
Juventus themselves have had a taste of Oscar’s brilliance when he scored that brilliant goal against them in the Champions League after making Pirlo look like a bystander and leaving Buffon clutching at straws.
The most important influence would be if Chelsea manage to land either Isco or James over the next window which would make Oscar a second choice at Chelsea. It is unknown if this would unsettle the playmaker and would cause him to leave for the mainland.
His performances over the last few matches have been nothing short of exemplary and would make a strong case for Chelsea to reconsider their avenues as he often picks up his game as soon as all the fans and management lose hope.
Alongside Juventus, teams like Bayern, Barcelona, PSG and Real are also expected to be interested in the player as they all lack a creative outlet at the time of writing. Real are heavily expected to win that battle as they are the team who would be losing the most of their attacking players if James and Isco indeed leave for pastures anew.
The fact that Chelsea are chasing Teixeira makes it abundantly clear that Chelsea have been active in their search for replacement but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Oscar stayed only to claim his spot back like he did from Mata, Willian and Hazard over the past couple of seasons.
