Manchester United and Chelsea are both interested in Roma’s midfielder Radja Nainggolan. The Belgian was on Antonio Conte’s wish list after he took charge at West Londoners last summer.
However, it appears Conte is not the only Premier League coach ready to sign the Serie A star. As the Italian outlet Calcio Mercato reports, Manchester United are also keen to secure his signature.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola’s Citizens and Arsenal are believed to be interested in him too.
The British clubs will face competition from Paris Saint-Germain if they decide to make a move for The Belgium International, though. The defensive midfielder has earlier shown his excitement to stay with Roma.
But, Calcio Mercato suggested the clubs are yet to start contract negotiations. The midfielder is now contracted to Serie A giants 2020. However, he is believed to be holding out for £3.5m-a-year to commit his long-term future to the Serie A giants.
However, some contradictory reports claim Roma are desperate to keep Nainggolan and are planning to offer him a new and improved contract.
His current deal expires in June 2020 and the plan is for it to be extended until the following summer.
Nainggolan’s fresh terms would also see him land a pay rise and he is holding out for a wage of around £70,000-a-week.
The Belgian has emerged as one of the Serie’s A leading midfielders, and is an integral member of Luciano Spalletti’s Roma side.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are among a number of clubs said to be keen on Atletico Madrid attacker Yannick Carrasco.
La Liga club Atletico faces a torrid summer of exits with numerous of their top players attracting interest from outside.
According to the Spanish outlet, Don Balon Antoine Griezmann and Kevin Gameiro are both on Manchester United and Paris St-Germain’s wish lists. And they add that The Belgium International is also a wanted player.
