Chelsea ready to AXE Costa after preparing an offer for Arsenal and Man United target

The Premier League already has a plethora of talent in its ranks and with the new TV deals and a summer of transition for many clubs, this summer might see more European stars move to the country for the next season.

One such big name who is almost set to make the move to the Premier League is Swedish national Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The current PSG striker has been one of the best strikers in world football for almost a decade now and has won 12 league titles in his last 13 seasons for different clubs all over Europe. However, he is yet to test his mettle in England and his recent statements indicate that he will surely have a go in one of the toughest leagues in the world.

The 34-year old is out of a contract at Paris after the end of the season and a number of Premier League clubs are after his signature.

The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all in the market for a striker this summer and can afford the wages of Zlatan. However, recent reports suggest that the London franchise Chelsea are set to make the first move for the player.

The Blues who are still to appoint a manager for the next season are planning a squad overhaul and the likes of Diego Costa and Loic Remy are all set to leave the club.

This has seen the Stamford Bridge franchise set their eyes on the star striker who wants to play in the country.

And recent  reports in France have claimed Chelsea have offered 34-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic a two-year deal worth almost £10million a season.

With the likes of John Terry also set to depart, Chelsea will lack a proper leader on the pitch next season and the 34-year old might just be the right person to get them back on track after a disappointing campaign this season.

With 27 goals and 9 assists in the 24 appearances in the domestic league this season, it is not hard to understand why the Swede is one of the most wanted players this summer.

He is a very good improvement on the current crop of players at Chelsea. The likes of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao have all been inconsistent and the stats show that Zlatan will be shrewd piece of business for the Blues.

Though the Stamford Bridge franchise will have to fend of interests from other top clubs in the league, they need for a outright striker and the chance of spending the money in a transitional transfer window might help them snatch their target before the start of the next season.

Manchester United are said to be the favorites if Jose Mourinho comes in as the next manager at Old Trafford. Arsene Wenger’s future is not entirely sure next season and if a managerial change happens, it could impact in Arsenal’s decision to go all out for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

According to reports, Zlatan was offered to Arsenal only a week ago, but those offers are still on hold. If Wenger steps aside, we could see a new manager coming in and the possibilities of Ibrahimovic signing for The Gunners will increase even more.

Wherever Zlatan end up next season, he will not make the move without an interesting transfer saga for the fans to enjoy. So where according to you should Zlatan play next season?
