Chelsea’s young starlet Kurt Zouma is set to make his debut for French national side in an epic International friendly against Brazil later tonight. This match comes as an opportunity for Zouma to further establish himself as a regular for his club and country.

Zouma has broken on the scene this season with Jose Mourinho preferring to play him over Gary Cahill due to his physical presence and speed. Zouma’s rise to the club football has been well noted France manage Didier Deschamp as he is set to hand Zouma his first International cap later tonight.

Zouma’s first test will not be an easy one as he will be up against the likes of Neymar and his fellow Chelsea mates Oscar and Willian. France have a tough task of establishing themselves as one of the European powerhouse of football ahead of the Euro 2016 as their recent performances in World event have been nothing short of shambolic.

Zouma is likely to be paired with Raphael Varane at the heart of France’s defence. Varane is also linked with a switch to Chelsea next summer after Varane came out and expressed his disbelief over the lack of playing time this season.

Chelsea have received major boost ahead of the International break as Spanish FA have announced their decision to rest Diego Costa for the upcoming games for Spain which gives Jose Mourinho a fresher Diego Costa to work with when the Premier League resumes on 4th April.
