According to latest reports, Marseille are interested in Chelsea’s young midfielder Jeremie Boga. The 18-year old have openly admitted that he would prefer a move to France if he does not make it to the first team at Chelsea.
The youngster is one of the highly rated talented talents in entire Europe but hardly gets time to play at Chelsea. The player have made appearances to France Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 level sides and hopes to break into the first team under Jose Mourinho.
Boga first played for Blues at Under-12 level, and made his Under-21 debut while still playing for the club’s Under-15’s which shows the maturity level of the player at such a young age.
The Marseille-born youngster is a versatile attacker who can in various attacking positions and creates a lots of goals for his team as he has excellent dribbling skills through which he can beat the defenders at ease.
He recently admitted that he would prefer a move to France if he can’t make it to the first team at Stamford Bridge.
He said, “My first choice would be to stay in England. After that we’ll see. If there are good options in L1 that match my profile, I would definitely consider. Marseille? Why not? This is a club close to my heart.”
Marseille are considering moves for highly rated youngsters across Europe as they are trying to rebuild a squad for the next season.
