With benfica not interested in the unsettled left-back, Chelsea would remain favorites as they are looking for more depth in their defense next season. Jose Mourinho signed the player back in 2011 at Real madrid from Benfica for a reported fee in the region of €30 million.
Chelsea need to bid in the region of £10-15million as Benfica are reportedly not interested to re-sign him this summer.
