Chelsea have been knocked back in their pursuit of a £20m move for Real Madrid midfielder Isco.
Real Madrid claimed that they have rejected approaches from premier league champions Chelsea and also from Italian champions Juventus as they do not intend to sell the Spanish youngster.
Jose Mourinho might have to be ready to sacrifice Brazilian star Oscar who is supposed to be on the target range for Seria A champions Juventus but for now far they are miles apart on the price.
But should Oscar decide to part ways with Chelsea then Isco would certainly fit the bill perfectly .
Isco, 23, joined Real Madrid from Malaga for £23m two years ago and did not quite live up to expectation last term which has also alerted Manchester City.
Manchester City earlier tried to sign Isco before he went to Real Madrid and are still said to be monitoring his situation closely. However new Real Madrid manager Rafa Benitez seems to have Isco as a part of his plans and does not want to let him go away from Madrid this summer.
Juve are said to be offering just £12m for Oscar which would also only be after a one-year loan spell with a fixed option to buy.
That would help Juventus finance the deal as they look to spend big this summer but that is nowhere near Chelsea’s valuation.
Meanwhile, Chelsea rising star Isaiah Brown is set to join Vitesse Arnhem on loan.
