According to Sunday People, English club Newcastle United is set to sell of their player Papiss Cisse to Turkish giants, Galatasaray. Cisse has been a top target of the club from Turkey and Galatasaray has shown massive interested in the Newcastle player. The Turkish club issued mandates to agents to keep close tabs on the striker. The club wants Cisse to head to Istanbul and the deal could take place in the month of January. The news of Newcastle giving the green signal for the player’s exit was music to the ears of the Turkish giants. It is believed that Cisse is open for a deal and will be available to the Turkish club for the right price.
Galatasaray look in pole position in signing the striker. The deal looks imminent because Cisse hasn’t performed well this season. Having netted just twice in 10 games till now, it has been an awful run for Cisse in this season of the Premier League.
Since Cisse is available at the right price, Galatasaray are confident a deal can be reached with the Premier league side.
Newcastle boss Steve McLaren is praying he gets the chance to continue his managerial reign at the club. The Toons gaffer is hoping he will be provided with finance so he can spend some money in the January transfer window to bring in some good buys and strengthen the squad. And Cisse is one of the players the Toon hierarchy would move on as they bid to reshape their squad.
