Arsenal have sent their young full-back Tafari Moore on a season-long loan deal to Dutch club FC Utrecht, the club has confirmed. The 19-year old is set to feature in the top tier of Dutch football.
The English U-19 international has spent most of his summer on trial at the club and has impressed enough to secure a loan deal.
The player has joined Arsenal at the age of 12 and has been brought up through their ranks. Moore made a total of 15 appearances for the under-21s last season and also played in UEFA Youth league with the U-19s.
Utrecht technical manager Erik ten Hag said: “We know the plans of Arsenal and see this as a win-win situation for all parties.
“FC Utrecht have a young defender with offensive qualities in the house.”
The player will most likely to feature for the Jong FC Utrecht who will be playing in the second tier of Dutch football.
