Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Arsenal and Manchester United target Matteo Darmian from the Serie A side Torino.

Manchester United are still in the transfer market for a right back with Dani Alves signing his contract extension with Barcelona while Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne still not decided on the transfer.

Arsenal have Hector Bellerin and Calum Chambers as the right-back options at the club and Arsene Wenger wants to bring the experienced Italian at Emirates.

 

Bayern Munich will be sending their key scouts to watch Matteo Darmian during Italy’s European Qualifiers game against Croatia on Friday.

Pep Guardiola is keen to add an attacking right-back to his already star studded squad. With Philippe Lahm’s transition to midfield, Guardiola wants to bring Darmian to Allianz Arena to create competition for placed between Darmian and Rafinha.

Darmian, 25 is regarded as one of the finest right backs in the game currently and his currently contract is due to run till 2017. Torino have not expressed any desires to sell Darmian, however any bid in the region of £15-20million would tempt the Serie A side to let go off their asset.
