Lucas Piazon is set leave Chelsea on loan yet again.
The Brazilian joined the Blues in 2012 and didn’t enjoy a handful of first-team appearances at Stamford Bridge. Piazon is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder but is preferred out in the wider areas.
Chelsea won the race to sign Piazon ahead of a number of sides, but the Brazilian has made one appearance in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old has been loaned out to four different sides since joining Chelsea, spending last season with Championship side Reading.
He also had spells with Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem and Eintracht Frankfurt.
And Piazon is set to complete another loan switch in search of game time, but the playmaker confirmed his destination is undecided.
“I am supposed to be going out on loan again and I am waiting to see where I go,” Piazon told ESPN.
“I have not yet decided where I may go out on loan. I have spoken to some clubs about going there, but nothing is 100 per cent with anyone and I am just thinking things over.
“Myself and Chelsea will make a decision where to go and then I will try and make an impact when I get there.
“I always want to play and be in the starting XI and if I can do that score some goals and create some chances I will be happy with that.”
Piazon had an impressive spell with Reading last campaign, chipping in with five goals in all competitions.
Piazon is just one of a number of players at Chelsea planning to spend this season away from Stamford Bridge, with over 30 players being loaned out last season because of the oversized squad at Stamford Bridge.
Eight players have already left Chelsea on loan this summer and Piazon has claimed those players who find themselves in the group to be loaned out try to motivate each other.
