Real Madrid’s striker Cristiano Ronaldo has promised fans that the team would their all on Sunday to win the game against Malaga which would see them win their first league title in five years.

The 32-year old has been in sensational form during the business end of the ongoing season as he is proving to be at his peak form in the crucial games for Real Madrid. The Portuguese captain has once again scored a brace in their important 4-1 win against Celta Vigo last night.

Goals from Toni Kroos and Karim Benzema meant Los Blancos need only one point in their final league game to win La Liga for the first time since 2012. Real Madrid will face Malaga away as the latter is considered as one of the toughest teams to beat at home.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid who were short of domestic success in the past decade are determined to win their second league title since 2007-08 season. The league title would ensure that Real Madrid are once again a force to reckon with in the country as Barcelona have dominated the league winning six times in the last eight seasons.

“We had to go until the end, the game has been very good and we played well, but we know that Malaga are strong at home. We have to go to win,” Ronaldo said.

“We go only to win, the objective is always to win, we know that they are good, but we are Real Madrid.

“We are the best and we want to be champions.

“Real are only thinking of Sunday, and for the Champions League final we will have time to prepare well for it afterwards.

“I opened the scoring and scored the second, this was important. It isn’t normal for me to miss, but I’m human and I can do it.”

Cristiano Ronaldo plays a crucial role for the remaining two games in their campaign as the mercurial forward has changed his style to become more effective in the final third. ZInedine Zidane can also be largely praised for the way he sued Ronaldo this season as he rested him to keep him in good shape for the business end of the season.

Real Madrid can eye a sensational La Liga- Champions League double this season as they are also considered favorites to win the European trophy once again this season. Real Madrid will face Juventus in Champions League final at Cardiff on June 3.
