In an attempt to win back the fans and to prove all his critics wrong, David Moyes is all set to bring back Old Trafford’s darling Cristiano Ronaldo back to Manchester United for a price rumored to be around 120-million plus add-ons.

After being booed at the Santiago Bernabau this last weekend even after scoring the opening goal for Real Madrid in front of their fans in their 5-0 route, coupled with Carlo Ancelotti not seemingly pleased with Ronaldo’s “Selfish ways of playing”, Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his desire to move away from Madrid and return back to his previous club Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo was quoted by a close friend stating that he has had enough of displeasure at Madrid and it is about time to call curtains on his Real Madrid journey. He has also reasoned the “Lack of competitiveness of La Liga” as another reason for wanting to leave.

Having previously reached iconic status at the English club, Cristiano Ronaldo has always been thankful to both Manchester United and especially Sir Alex Ferguson for making him the player that he is today. Cristiano Ronaldo even addresses Sir Alex Ferguson as his father and it was no surprise that Sir Alex Ferguson played a huge part in turning Ronaldo’s attention towards joining the Red Devils once again.

Respecting the need for the English champions to get back to the top distinction as early as possible; David Moyes has already started his rebuilding scheme for the coming season by convincing the 2014 Ballon D’or winner to join the club this summer.

The 20-time English champions, Manchester United, are having their worst season in over 2 decades under new manager David Moyes and people expected things to be difficult post Sir Alex Ferguson era, results have just deserted any chances of happiness to the Red Devil faithful. This signing could just prove to be the turn of Moyes’ fortunes along with Manchester United’s ticket to climb back up the ladder.

So Cristiano Ronaldo is officially set to join Manchester United this coming summer and you have officially been fooled until this point on April fool’s day. We hope you take this article in a light-hearted way and wish you luck for fooling your friends and family on this day. Cheers.
