Real Madrid have set their eyes on Croatian wonder-kid Ante Coric who plays for Dinamo Zagreb currently.
Scouts from Madrid have been sent to watch the midfielder on numerous occasions and the 18-year-old Croatian is improving every day.
According to reports, Coric has a contract with Dinamo until 2020 and is valued at £10m at present.
His playing style and attacking nature is being linked to current Madrid midfielder and fellow Croatian Luka Modric.
Real Madrid are convinced with his ability and are reportedly trying to sign the midfielder in January itself.
Coric made his debut for Dinamo in 2013 as a 16 year old and now holds a prominent place in the team and has garnered attention from top clubs like Real
Madrid, Inter Milan.
According to news sources, Coric had told the press in November that he was ready to leave the club.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is focusing on bringing youth starlets to the club who will build the future of Real Madrid.
Martin Odegaard, Marco Asensio and Jesus Vallejo are some promising players who are in Madrid currently and it would be excellent if Coric too joins Madrid at Bernabeu.
Coric could be the sixth Croatian to wear the Real Madrid shirt, following Robert Prosinecki, Robert Jarni, Davor Suker, Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic, if he accepts the offer.
Other rumours surrounding the wonder-kid are that, Chelsea are very eager to bring him to Stamford Bridge ahead of both Real Madrid and Manchester City.
The teenager is the youngest goal scorer in the Europa league after scoring against Astra Giurgiu aged just 17 years and 157 days and his consistency has attracted the attention of Bayern Munich also.
Real Madrid have already contacted Coric’s agent Andy Bara and all that is left is to make a formal offer for his services to bring him as soon as possible to Bernabeu, considering the fact that other clubs are also trying to sign him.
