David De Gea has decided to call it quit on his time at Manchester United after putting his £2.75million mansion house for sale. Evening Standard has reported the story where De Gea has dropped the biggest hint yet of his departure from Old Trafford by putting his house for sale.

De Gea is currently in Spain where he has advised his agent Jorge Mendes to seal his transfer to Real Madrid. De Gea has even indicated that he does not want to go back to Manchester United’s pre-season training camp in July.

Real Madrid have been put off by United’s recent demands of including Sergio Ramos in a deal to sign David De Gea. Real Madrid’s initial £13million bid was laughed out by Manchester United and are holding the Spanish club for anything in the region of £25million.

This transfer saga is expected to run for next few weeks as Real Madrid are adamant to sign the 24-year old goal keeper while United want to extract the best price for the prized asset.

Manchester United have earmarked Hugo Lloris as their ideal replacement for the departing Spaniard.

What future holds for Man United post De Gea

Manchester United are resigned to losing De Gea in the summer after the keeper has put his £2.5million mansion on sale.

United have been encouraged by the availability of Hugo Lloris at a price of £17.8 million. Lloris has been one of the best goal keepers in the league and in Europe for last few season and would bring a lot of assurance at Old Trafford.
