Manchester United goal-keeper, David de Gea, will be back in training come this Monday to begin the pre-season with his current club.
The keeper is set to make up for his place during the summer tour when Manchester United are off to Seattle on 13the July unless his rumored transfer to Spanish Giants Real Madrid happens before hand.
As per latest reports, Manchester United are prepared to run down De Gea’s contract down and let him go for free next season unless Madrid sell Sergio Ramos to them. The 20-time champions are unshaken by Madrid’s power in the transfer market.
The keeper at present is in Spain, Madrid to be precise, and he will return to the Aon Training Complex to accompany his teammates on 6th July. Most of the international stars will join and the rest have already joined earlier.
If his future is still undecided till Monday, De Gea will be a part of the Man Utd team for the 4-match trip to the U.S.A. This will mean that manager Van Gaal will have to answer regarding De Gea’s transfer rather than focusing on the team’s preparation solely.
Madrid are yet to make anything official with respect to De Gea. An informal price of €18m (£12.7m) was presented by the Spanish club which was not entertained by the English Giants.
