According to latest reports, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is ready to sign a new contract which will give the Red devils a huge boost as they can resist offers from Real Madrid this summer.

The 24-year old have been the best player for Manchester United last season despite being a goalkeeper and has become one of the best players in entire Premier League.

The Spanish International’s recent form suggested that he is the very best option available for Real Madrid to replace their out-of-form Iker Casillas who has been struggling since the World Cup last summer.

The reports also suggest that the contract will be a one-year deal as it De Gea thinks to commit his immediate future to the Red Devils. The contract will also see the player earning a handsome £200,000-a-week and will expire in June 2017.

This deal would mean that there can be a similar situation next year as Real Madrid will bid for the goal keeper and it will give ample time for Manchester United to scout for the successor of the Spanish shot stopper.

The deal would be a welcome news to Manchester United fans as they can enjoy the class of David De Gea for at least another season before any speculation of the player getting transferred.
