According to Guardian, A tribunal will sit later on today to discuss Ings’s value and Liverpool will have to pay the sum. Initially, Liverpool were willing to offer £6million for the player but Burnley were holding on to a £10million asking fee.

The dispute could not be resolved on time as a result of which, a Premier League tribunal will now decide the transfer fee for Danny Ings’ transfer to Liverpool.

All that being aside, Liverpool are progressing towards building a strong side with signings like Danny Ings, James Milner and Roberto Firmino.

If the move goes through, Brendan Rodgers will have an impressive squad to work with going in to the next season.
