We have seen one of the greatest comebacks in football yesterday night as German side Borussia Dortmund came back from 3-0 to 4-3 to win against Norwegian side Odds BK in the Europa League playoffs.
Thomas Tuchel’s men were 3-0 down on 22 minutes and came back to win the game 4-3 incredibly.
Thomas Tuchel has taken charge at Signal Iduna Park from Jurgen Klopp this summer and did well to impress the fans yesterday.
Despite their fantastic start to life under new head coach Thomas Tuchel in Bundesliga, Dortmund was shell-shocked as Jone Samuelsen gave Odd the lead after just 14 seconds.
They conceded two more goals on 20 and 22 minutes.
But the German side did not give up and scored 4 goals to come back in the match. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a brace and former Manchester United star Shinji Kagawa scored another.
The winning goal came from the feet of Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan on 85 minutes.
This amazing comeback will be remembered forever by football world, just like Liverpool’s historic comeback against Milan in the 2005 UEFA Champions League final or Manchester United’s comeback against Bayern Munich in the final of the same competition in 1999.
