Eden Hazard believe that the Premier League title is theirs to lose following their 2-1 victory over Stoke City on Saturday. Hazard played a vital role in the crucial victory as he scored a goal and assisted another to Loic Remy’s winner after Charlie Adam evened things with his 65-yard goal.

The victory also meant that Chelsea are now seven points ahead of all other teams with an extra game to play. Hazard played a crucial role in their title run this season as he scored 12 goals and assisted seven more.

Jose Mourinho has targeted five wins and one draw in the remaining eight games and Hazard is hopeful that Chelsea will win a first league title in five years.

Hazard said: “We are confident. We are first in the league and we take game after game. We have the title in our hands. We want to bring the trophy to Stamford Bridge.”

The 24-year old winger also thinks that Chelsea should have Stoke City by a bigger margin.

“In the first half we created a lot of chances. We played beautiful football and okay, we scored just one goal, but we deserved to score three or four. The most important thing was the victory and we did very well till the end,” he added.

The victory also saw Diego Costa injured which could see him out of action for an extended period and Loic Remy is expected to be his ideal replacement in the starting line up.

“He can score every time when he’s on the pitch. This guy deserves to score a lot of goals,” Hazard said.
