Swansea City finally recorded a victory in the third fixture of the league against at the hawthrones. They struggled in the first two games but after they defeated West Bromwich Albion dominantly, it seems like they are back on the track. Liverpool is the only team in the league who have not wasted any point yet, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham everybody dropped points but Liverpool. We can expect a superb game between the two sides. The last time these two teams met on the Liberty Stadium, both came out with one point each, nobody could score a goal and it went to a goal less draw. The picture this year seems a bit different for the away side as Liverpool’s rock solid defense is yet to be broken in the league.

What to expect from this match

Swansea’s performance was really great in their last game against West Bromwich Albion and it would be really exciting to see how they perform against the side of the league so far. And since the game is going to take place at the Liberty stadium, we can hope that in-form Swansea can give a very good fight to the visitors. Liverpool might be favorites to win this game but as one of their key men Glen Johnson is out for next three months and Daniel Sturridge is in doubt for the next game, it is not going to be an easy task for the away side to keep their winning streak alive.

Players to watch out for

Pablo Hernandez (Swansea City) : Man of the match from the last game, had involvements in both goals, assisted the first one and scored the final one, Pablo Hernandez could be the key of success for the home side in the next crucial fixture. Pablo along with Michu and the former Liverpool man Jonjo Shelvey would be big challenge for the Liverpool defense to face.

Iago Aspas (Liverpool) : Not been a great start in the league from the Spanish forward but since Daniel Sturridge is doubtful for the next game, all eyes would be on the former Celta Vigo man. Liverpool fans are really waiting to see Aspas playing the same role he used to play in his former side. He is a hard worker, some of the Liverpool fans have already started saying that he can take empty place left by Dirk Kuyt. If Sturridge could not make it up to Liberty stadium in the next fixture, Aspas has to prove himself to remain a regular.

Predicted Lineups

Swansea City : Since the Swans got an important victory in the last fixture, Michael Laudrup would not make any changes in the starting lineup but he would be forced to make a change as Jonjo Shelvey is out with a serious injury, he might get replaced by Leon Britton.

Liverpool : Several changes are possible to Brendon Rodgers’ side, right now we see three possible changes. First one, the obvious one is Andre Wisdom in place of injured Glen Johnson. Kolo Toure might return from his injury to replace Martin Skrtel and if Sturridge could not recover from his injury, Luis Alberto might take his place. If Sturridge could not make it up to Liberty Stadium, Rodgers might set the formation to false nine.

Result Predictions

We predict a victory for the home side. It is really difficult to predict the result at this stage as more than one player look to be doubt for Liverpool, but we are predicting the results by not counting Sturridge in the squad.

Predicted Score line : Swansea City 1 – 0 Liverpool
