Jose Mourinho’s side face the prospect of tricky ties against Roma or Shakhtar Donetsk, while Tottenham could meet Athletic Bilbao, Villarreal or Olympiakos.

The draw will take place on Monday December 12 at 12pm GMT/ 5:30 PM IST.
How the draw works
There are two pots for Monday’s draw – teams are seeded and unseeded.
The 12 group winners in the Europa League and four teams best-ranked sides who finished third in the Champions League group stage, among which are Tottenham, are seeded.
The 12 group runners-up in the Europa League, which includes Manchester United, and remaining sides who finished third in the Champions League group stage are unseeded.
