Everton 0-1 Liverpool: Twitter Reacts As Sadio Mane’s Dramatic Goal Helps Reds Reclaim Second Spot i

Liverpool reclaimed the second position in the Premier League with a dramatic win over city rivals Everton and the close the gap at top of the table to six points.
After Manchester City’s win against Arsenal the previous day, Jurgen Klopp’s men needed a win but it was looking quite unlikely until Sadio Mane scored late in the second half injury time to settle the Merseyside derby in Liverpool’s favour. The former Southampton star was the first to react to a loose ball after substitute Daniel Sturridge’s shot had hit the bar in the 94th minute.
After a slow start, Liverpool found their rhythm and was clearly the better side at the Goodison Park but the goal hardly came.
Divock Origi missed a chance in the 37th minute when he shot wide but apart from that the visitors created little clear-cut chances in the first half. The Reds began dominantly in the second half too and almost got the lead but Maarten Stekelenburg denied Roberto Firmino. Mane and Nathaniel Clyne also had their shot blocked and it was looking like the third time in four matches Liverpool will drop points until Mane found the back of the net.
Here is how Twitter reacted to the Merseyside derby:
Mane thanks for an early Xmas pressie!!happy days.

When he was his manager at Saints, Koeman lambasted/dropped Sadio Mane on multiple occasions for his timekeeping. Right on cue there… #LFC

And that's why you don't sell Daniel Sturridge. Starter or substitute, playing well or poorly, he can produce moments that win you games

Absolutely unbelievable. As much as Sturridge can frustrate there is no doubt he is a game changer. Buzzin!!
