Former England International Ashley Cole has had a torrid time in Italy at AS Roma where he has not been able to make any impact what so ever.
The 35 year old has made no appearance for the Italian side this season after he was branded free to go after the end of last season.
It is now understood that the ex-England left back is considering a move to the MLS in the United States to put an end to the his disastrous spell in Italy.
The MLS side, LA Galaxy are confident that they can get Ashley Cole to end his contract with Roma in favor of a move to their franchise in the States.
AS Roma are understood to be happy to let Cole go six months before his two year contract expires and it is no surprise that Cole is looking to make the move to the less intense MLS.
Ashley Cole had nothing less than a stellar career playing for two giant clubs in London. Arsenal and Chelsea were privileged to see the left back in his full stride.
Cole won three Premier League title, seven FA Cups and a Champions League trophy with the London clubs but has been able to male just 11 appearances in more than an year at Roma.
If the move to LA Galaxy is sanctioned, Cole will play in his 3rd football league and country in his 18th year as a professional footballer.
