Mata set for La Liga move as Mourinho lingering future talks

According to reports in Turkey, Fenerbahce have not given up their hope of signing Manchester United start midfielder Juan Mata.

The Spaniard is reportedly unhappy with the new manager José Mourinho as he has handed a transfer request to the club.

The 28-year old is one of the best midfielders for the Red Devils last season but has not played any big role in the pre-season this summer.

Mourinho who sold the player to Manchester United during his reign at Chelsea is not going to plan any big for the player as the player who came as a substitute during Community Shield was again subbed off during the end of the game.

According to Turkish newspaper Milliyet, Fenerbahce are keen to add Mata to their roster as a potential replacement for departed Nani.

The Turkish club are reported ready to pay £20 million to secure the services of Juan Mata. Despite the high price tag, the Super Lig club is keen to add talented attacking midfielder like Mata to their squad going into the new season.

The Spaniard has been a vital player since his arrival from Chelsea back in January 2014 as he has represented Manchester United in 86 games and have scored 21 goals for the Red Devils.
